Confused Bears engaged in the sexy time

Me and my Girl friend went to the John Ball zoo over the summer. The bears were acting normal until I realized The lighter one is the male and the Darker one is the female.... If you listen to the family by us the mother tells her daughter " There just playing." Another family was appalled by the behavior saying they were going to complain to the zoo. This I found to be a bit ridiculous. How would you like it if you were cooped up in a enclosure with people constantly watching. All animals do the nasty. Even if their sexual roles are a bit off.
