My Alerts
Hey CollegeHumor just made this awesome new alert system. How cool is that? Now you will always know when CollegeHumor has something new and exciting that you want to look at. This means you won't have to come here all the time just to check if any of your favorite things have been updated. Holy crap- that's bad for our traffic. Wait, we should rethink this... Before we delete the whole system, check out the FAQ to your right.

What are alerts?
What a dumb question, they are email notifications sent to you about updates to specific areas of the CollegeHumor site. For example, when a hilarious new CollegeHumor original movie is released, you can be among the first to know. Alerts also make you look cool and help you lose weight.
How can I create an alert?
Throughout the site, you will notice that on some pages a red bar appears indicating that you can create an alert. For instance, on a users profile page. By adding this alert you will be notified through e-mail when they write a new article or upload a new Picture. "Wow, I just created something, it's like I'm God," you think incorrectly.
Another easy way to create alerts is by going to the alerts page and selecting from the predefined list of general alerts, such as "Newest Videos" or "So Hot Items." Look at that, the lazy man's alerts.
How can I stop receiving alerts?
Why do you want to hurt us? JK that's fine. Your loss. You can either disable the alert from the alerts page by un-checking the "enable" check box, or you can completely remove the alert by clicking the word "Delete," which is located to the right.
What if I want to have my alerts sent to another email address?
You can't. Ok, you can, but you will need to go to your profile settings and change your email address there.
