The Lamination of Christ

When I read the Stupid Question Hall of Fame from the week of 1/28/08, one submission made me laugh ridiculously hard:

“Professor: This painting is called ‘The Lamentation of Christ’, anyone know what the word lamentation means?

Student: Is that, like, when you cover something in plastic, like paper?”

In short, I could not get the image out of my mind of Jesus getting laminated. So I had my friend draw this picture. Hope you enjoy….
