"I asked Jesus 'How much do you love me?' 'This much!' he answered. Then he stretched out his arms and died." We get that joke in the text submissions all the time, and I usually consider it offensive.

I was unable to leave a comment; it said I cannot leave a comment unless I have a .edu email address.

I am Christian, and I find this very offensive. #1, Why is this a joke? "I asked Jesus, 'How much do You love me?' 'This much!' He answered. The He stretched out His arms and died." How is that funny? Why is Christ's death a joke?

I didn't want to sign up, and be a part of this website at all, but I had to comment, and say something. I am way to offended to stay silent. You don't have to convert to Christianity; God gave us Free Will. You don't have to agree with it, you don't have to like it. But You do have to respect it! As a Christian, myself, I don't agree with any other religious belief, but I don't make fun, or joke about what others believe, I don't put anyone down. I respect others. And I ask the same in return.

You need to consider other peoples feelings before you post something as a "joke". You don't respect others, you yourself won't get the respect you want. "Do unto others, as you would have done to you."
