Cool Kids don't wear Seatbelts

Remember back when you were a little kid, adults would always say, “Wear your seatbelt! No one thinks you’re cool if you don’t!” Well that’s true. There’s no reason not to wear your seatbelt. There’s really no reason to even plant the idea in the mind’s of children that cool kids don’t wear seatbelts.

What should have been said was, “Wear your seatbelt. It will help save your life in the event of a crash and there’s no reason not to.” But no. The “adults that be” decided on their own accord to associate not wearing a seatbelt with being “cool.” This got me to thinking, in what situation in life would one ACTUALLY be uncool for wearing their seatbelt?
