Hello all. I realize that we are getting to the end of our semester together and we’re all a little stressed out and perhaps a bit on edge. I just want to remind you guys that vandalism begins to add up! What started out as one small hole in the stairwell (across from F125 between the 2 and 3 floor) has snowballed into a nearly $300.00 repair bill (which will be divided amongst all Farside residents). Each time the repair process has been started someone(s) has recreated the hole. Every time this is done there is a cost of $90.00. At this point, the bill, for this once small hole, is $270.00. Where’s the “glory” in that? If the “Glory” hole (which someone keeps writing on the wall, next to the hole, only increasing the repair bill) continues to be vandalized/recreated the building will continue to be billed $90.00 every time this happens. In addition to the $270.00 for the “Glory” hole billing, the building is also being billed $316.78 for vomit clean up. This occurred on 11/7/09. This is a total of $586.78. These costs cannot be appealed and will be applied to your student accounts. Please think about your actions. It is unfair that everyone in the building has to be penalized for the behaviors of few. Thank you,
