The Dark Knight
Heath Ledger's Joker was one of the most anticipated, built up and talked-about performances in recent movie history, helping Christopher Nolan's 2008 sequel to smash box office records around the world and earn the late Aussie a post-humous Oscar. Rightly so, as Ledger knocked out a now harrowing performance as a dark, crazed Joker with a messed-up and brilliant sense of humor. We all saw it and we were all amazed and The Dark Knight became the No.1 movie in many people's minds.
But hang on a second. How many times have you watched this back? After a while, the novelty of its good points wears off and you realize the action sequences are too long, Christian Bale is kind of a dick and Aaron Eckhart should have had more screen-time as Two Face.
