When my father charges his cell phone, he stretches the full length of the cord out in a straight line so that "it will charge faster" and so the "electricity won't get stuck" in the corners. Bear in mind this man is of the baby boomer generation the group of people raised using new electronic devices their entire lives. It's a shame after 60 years he hasn't quite grasped the concept of electricity yet.
