Now at the time I had an unpaid ticket/court cost that I had received for speeding a little and went to defensive driving school for, so I was freaking out more than just a little. Dustin told me not to worry just pull over because if there was a warrant for that I would know about it. That of course didn't make me feel any better but I pulled over anyway. This is where things got weird. Two cops got out of the car one of them came to my window asked for my license and glanced at it quickly. As he gave it back I noticed that there wasn't one but THREE cop cars surrounding us all lights and sirens. When I looked over at Dustin, there was a cop at his window too, hand over his gun holster, running his license. Shit was getting real and I just stared at him wide eyed. After about 10 minutes here is what my cop said to me: "I'm sorry, we've made a mistake...but your friend Dustin here matches the description of a wanted felon." Our reaction after our hearts stopped racing? "WE AREN'T EVEN FROM HERE DUDE!" We laughed about it the whole drive home though.
