On November 19, 2012 GQ published an interview with Senator Marco Rubio. When asked how old the earth was Sen. Rubio responded "Whether the Earth was created in seven days, or seven actual eras, I'm not sure we'll ever be able to answer that. It's one of the great mysteries."

Are the changing seasons because of the revolution of the Earth around the sun or because the Snow Genie and the Beach Angel are fighting?
Do apples fall from trees because of gravity or because they're desperately trying to burrow underground to escape gay people?
Is the square root of negative one an imaginary number, or a very real number who answers all our prayers?
Are the tides controlled by the moon, or by billions of tiny sea monsters that live inside sand grains?
Are red lights something everyone sees, or are they a figment crafted by my deepest soul when it decides I should stop my car?
Do women wear makeup to enhance their features, or to ward away the evil spirits of their last periods?
Does fire burn wood because it’s hot, or because it’s jealous that wood gets to turn into paper?
