The hit Showtime series The L Word is popular amongst college age women, housewives, dykes and fags alike. Does the fact that I dedicate my Sundays 10-11 P.M. E.S.T. to this well-written, well-acted series make methe proverbial catcher? You decide… Yay or nay: does watching The L Word make me gay?

The show follows the lives of several well-to-do lesbian women in West Hollywood. There is like no fart or dick jokes in like the whole show. Verdict: Gay

The character Jenny Schecter is played by Mia Kirshner. Jenny is a sex crazed lesbian cutter who has sex with girls. On occasion you get to see her tits. Verdict: Not Gay

Leisha Hailey plays the role of Alice Pieszecki. Alice hosts a radio talk show and isthe center of thiscircle of friends. And let me tell you, she is soooo quirky and HILLARIOUS. Verdict: Gay

Erin Daniels played the role of Dana Fairbanks. Dana was a debutant turned tennis pro. Unfortunately, at the peak of her career she was diagnosed with breast cancer and later dies. I’m not saying I cried when she died, but I really couldn’t see how the show was going to be the same without her. We love you Dana! Verdict: Gay

On the occasion that Dana was getting check for cancer…you got to see her tits. Verdict: Not Gay

At the end of Season 3, Carmen de la Pica Morales (Sarah Shahi) and Shane McCutchen (Katherine Moenning) went to Canada to get married. After Helena Peabody (Rachel Shelley) put up all kinds of cash to put up everybody at this super ritzy resort, Shane bails on her bride. What a bitch! Go do some more blow you cokehead bitch. (Its ok Shane, you really make up for it in Season 4) Verdict: Gay

Sarah Shahi is the hottest chick ever. However, on no occasion do you get to see her tits. Same with Jennifer Beals. Verdict: Gay

There are occasions to see Sarah Shahi having sex with hot chicks. On most of those occasions you get to see their tits. There are also occasions to see the tits of: Katherine Moenning, Rachel Shelley, Daniela Shea, Cybill Shepard Sadrine Holt, and Kristanna Loken. Verdict: Not Gay

Finally, although all the characters in the show are gay, Ithink that only one of the actresses is openly gay (Leisha Hailey). So when I’m rubbing it out to Jennifer Beals getting finger-blasted by Marlee Martin, I can imagine its me in that sweet half black vagina. Final Verdict: Not Gay
