The Crew-Mobil

A legend is being born as we speak. This legend is of a car, which has been taken to many distinations. Known specifically to a group of friends, consisting of 7 friends, the Crew-Mobil has been to hell and back again twice. Here are just a few memories:

• Road-Trip to 4 states in 9 hours.

The story behind this is, 5 of the friends decided to go to Chambersburg, PA to a tobacco shop. As the 5 friends left, they decided to randomly go to West Virginia. From there they went into Virginia. Then into Maryland, and back to Ephrata, PA. Just in time to see the National Football Championship game between USC and Texas.

• Ocean City New Jersey.

It was a Saturday night, 9 pm, in Ephrata, PA when 4 of the friends decided to take a beach trip to Ocean City, New Jersey, for the night over summer break. When the 4 friends got there, the boardwalk was vacant as was so the beach (beacause it cost a dollar, and OC, NJ beach is crap). One of the friends decided to randomly hop over a fence and jump into a hotel pool, where for the remainder of the night felt very very cold. Well after 1 hour at the beach the friends decided to head back home. But the driver assumed that the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway met sooner, he was wrong. They ended up in New York before being able to get on the NJ Turnpike. One of the friends had to work at 6 and by the time the friends got back into PA it was 5. The sun was raising.

• Trip to Ocean City, Maryland

The trip there was nothing special, only that he got a ticket but got off the hook because he thought it was 65 instead of 55. On the way back the friends had to do a favor for a female. She was moving back to PA. Well she stated she had a few things. A few things turned into two FULL car loads. As trip back home contiued the Crew Mobil hit a milestone. It turned over to 200,000 miles, in Delaware. As the two friends and the female were entering PA,they came across a small town. The friend blasted the song She Hates Me by Puddle of Mudd, but yelled out into a Elderly community the famous chorus of the Song, SHE FU*KING HATES ME. As the trip continued the two friends arrived at the females house where she did not have key too. After failed attempts by the female to break the window, 1 of the friends removed the A/C unit and got the female in to her home.

• Flat Tire on the Way to the Mall
• Flat Tire at 2 am on the way from a dinner (1st and 2nd flat happened within a week period
• Flat tire coming home from work
• Hitting a Shrew in the middle of Lancaster City
• A accident involving one friend plastic head light cover vs the whole side one side of the Crew-Mobil, which led to the welding of the right-side rear door.
• The 400+ mile trip throughout North, East, West, and South, PA all in a weekend.

The car is currently at 209,000 miles (1 April 2007). The Crew-mobil is legend among the 7 friends. Hoping that the car will make it to 300,000+, so that manymore memories can be created. I will keep you posted on the legend vehical.
