How's it going?

Not too bad, just woke up actually. How are you?



Pretty good, I wish i just woke up, I'm tired man.

It was nice, because I don't have class until 1:30 on Tuesdays.



Oh man are you back at school?

Yep, we started yesterday.



How is it so far?

Actually pretty good. I mean it's school, but I wasn't ready for summer to be over.



Yeah that always sucks. What'd you do this summer?

Relaxed a lot, worked almost every day, and went to the beach twice. What about you?



Only twice? Where do you live?

Pittsburgh, it's a hike to Maryland though.



Well you've got pools.

Yep, and I work at a pool.



Oh perfect, did you save anyone?

I have worked there for 4 years, and only had to go in after one little girl.



What happened to her?

She was in the middle of the pool in the 3 foot and it went over her head and started bobbing up and down, so I figured it was time to go in and save her.



Oh man that's scary. Did everyone treat you like a hero after that?

For like a day, then they got over it.



At my pool the lifeguard is pretty much in charge of making sure people don't dive in the shallow end and yelling at people for jumping off the diving board right after each other. Did you do any of that?

Yeah, the kids like to run and disobey me as well, and I usually bench them.



You're tough huh?

As tough as I can be for 5 foot.



Are there tons of little twelve year old kids with crushes on you?

It's so funny, everyday there are kids saying, "Vanessa, save me...I need mouth to mouth." Terrible little boys.



Have you ever seen "The Sandlot"?

Actually I haven't, I always wanted to see it but never got around to watching it.



It's a classic, there's a lifeguard scene that reminds me of this.

Well I'm going to watch it this week.



Promise me.

I will find someone that has it and watch it, I promise.



Alright, good. So how long have you been back at school?

I moved back in on Saturday then started class yesterday.



What's the best thing that's happened so far?

Well a lot has already happened, but it would have to be Sunday night at a Steeler party. We made snow angels on the carpets, harassed Eagle fans, and as we were walking back home people were throwing water balloons at us.



What would you say you're most embarrassing college moment has been so far?

Oh wow, it was the beginning of the year last year and my friends and I were walking and trying to find frat row, I had a skirt on and tripped over something and banged my head off of a brick wall. Everyone looked at me and thought I was going to cry because I hit pretty hard, but i just laid there laughing so hard. It's a tie between the brick wall and trying to sled ride on a pizza box in the dorm halls.



Oh geez, embarrassing moments always have the potential to be so bad for girls just because you have to wear skirts.

Hah, a lot of malfunctions with skirts, you'd think we would learn our lesson.



Haha you guys suck.

We just turn into clumsy with skirts on.
