  Beer Pong Slam Dunk

  In their own words:
  
  It was the second annual dad's weekend at our frat house. My dad had made a reputation for himself before at the previous year's festivities, so people egged him on all night to get drunk and go nuts. His night started with tequila shots from behind the grill while he cooked burgers, and then, after several consecutive losses, he was drunk enough to ask me this: "Nick, is it time for a dunk?" My father and I were already wearing only underwear as part of a strategy to distract our opponents, but this request was met with resistance from me; eventually, though, chants of his first name over-ruled my request. He got a running start from our kitchen and proceeded to set what I believe is a world record in the broad jump for 57-year-old men. When watching the video notice the following things:
  
  1) He comes unbelievably close to actually dunking it in the cup.
  
  2) The opponent saves his beer at the last minute, a real veteran move.
  
  3) In the background there is a man, one of my dad's best friends, who hangs his head in shame, covers his face and paces nervously after the dunk. This is because my father, me, him, and his son had to play in a golf tournament together the next day. My dad toughed out the pain and we won the team event, a true testament to his resilience.
  
  4) No one goes to help him up. Everyone is laughing so hard and shocked that my dad stays down and the table stays on top of him for way too many seconds. Finally, one guy steps in and removes it and then I pick him up off the floor.
  
  5) After the event happens, just as he is being picked up, a hilarious-looking asian man takes a photo of the event, as if it were Micky at Epcot Center. Too much!
  
  6) Finally, my dad ended up with 2 broken ribs and more than one thousand dollars in medical bills as a result. This year he did not attempt any dunks, though he did get so drunk that he was awarded the fun dad of the year award for the second consecutive year. He continues to drink tequila and play beer pong on a regular basis. He's the man. Next year I'll be working for his company and I can't wait. We've already told everyone that we'll return for dad's weekend no matter what. Everyone in the fraternity considers him an uncle.
