The Flash Is Homeless

So I work in a chocolate store and it seems like everyone loves chocolate, even idiots. This past week I was helping a couple who wanted to make up 3 boxes of chocolate with no nuts. Read More » only employee in the store and there were other customers waiting patiently in line, I made them all the same and showed them one, saying "This is your box of chocolates! No nuts, they all look the same." They scrutinized the box and pointed out a chocolate with coconut and said "What's that? That's nuts." I politely said, "Oh no, that's coconut!" They stared at me in terror and argued that it was a nut, children were very allergic, blah blah, I looked to other customers for help, someone else to say, "You moron, coconut is not an actual nut!" But I had to switch them all out. I foiled a mint very nicely and when I presented them with it again they were all "What is that? Mint? No. Kids don't like mint." So the third time I put in our least kid-friendly chocolate: buttered rum. They thought it looked fine. Hope the kids liked that.
