Christmas tree playing the guitar

This is my friend. If you can't tell, he is supposed to be a Christmas tree, but it didn't really work out. His costume consisted of a bag of balloons, orange tights, and a star he tied to his head with garland that stayed on for all of 5 minutes. Directly before this picture, he tried to walk throught the kitchen and broke a bottle of wine (part of my costume. I was goddess of wine). Directly after this picture he was chased through the streets by people (French people. We are in France) wanting to pop the balloons. At the party, he could hardly fit through the door, so he left and was chased back home, where he spent the rest of the night writing a song.
