Anya Stroud from Gears of war 3

Anya Stroud from Gears of war 3

This costume was a very dedicated 6 month project. Using detailed character models as a reference, I created pattern templates which I transfered on to EVA foam (commonly known as exercise mats). I molded the pieces using a heat gun, and carved textures out with a dremel. Each piece was coated in plasti-dip before spray painting and adding detail. The right arm guard, shoulder pieces, and back "shell" have blue LEDs wired into them, all of which are powered by two 9 volt batteries (one for the arm, and one for the shoulders and back). Some other odds and ends that went into the costume were nuts bolts and screws, door hinges, rubber placemat material, and wire holders.
