Its Carney! Here today to talk to you all about everything that's wonderful, wacky, recalcitrant, repellant, funny and fabulous on the web. Today's reviewee is a show that some quarter of a million You Tubers subscribe to, but tens of millions of you out there in cyber land have watched on occasion and I must say that it is a personal favorite of mine. The Brainchild of Charlie Todd has been bemusing, befuddling and flat out entertaining New Yorkers since August of 2001. If you've ever started belting out a tune in the middle of the Library or done some impromptu soft shoe outside City Hall you know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about Improv Everywhere.

And when I say everywhere I mean everywhere! From a Mall Food court to an old warehouse, from the IRT subway of Manhattan to a Grocery store in Queens, All the way to my old Stomping grounds of Brooklyn and everywhere in between these fearless entertainers, your neighbors, your friends, your sons and daughters run risks ranking from embarrassment to incarceration all for the entertainment of their fellow citizens, YOU. This is the type of show that should serve as an example to all of us as to what we can accomplish when we simply try flexing the grey matter between our ears, instead of relying upon the suspect sensibilities of some sleazy marketing exec or calculating network flak.┬╝br style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; line-height: 0.5em; ">
Entertainment for the people, by the people and of the people. Improv Everywhere is guerrilla theater at its finest! Through their actions they prove that you don't need to be the best looking or the greatest singer or even the most talented actor, though all those things do help. All you really need to be is fearless! The joy they elicit is indescribable; the glad feelings they give to others, incalculable; and the smiles they bring are too numerous to possibly count. But what's most important is what they are showing you, my minions. They are showing you a path to happiness. They are demonstrating by their actions that anyone and everyone can give something back to their city, to their fellow citizens and to the very fabric of our society itself and bring joy to themselves in that very process, the process of creation. This shouldn't only be happening in New York, it should be happening Everywhere! It could be happening in your very own town!

I proudly give Improv Everywhere my highest rating 5 Carney's. Check them out then send your curses or praises to Carney@ugvc.tv
