It's unlikely that you live your entire life without asking a stupid question. It's okay, we've all been there.

Once, I asked if  it's possible to use the third law of thermodynamics to reduce the temperature of any system to zero temperature in a finite number of finite operations. I mean, duh, it's impossible, how embarrassing that I even asked. 

At least the people over at /r/AskReddit understand.
