10. Inception Machine

Inception introduced all kinds of crazy concepts though its shared dream briefcase that's never really explained. It's a dangerous process, though: people can get injured, die, and even get trapped in a terrible fantasy realm that renders you an insane octogenarian by the time you're rescued. But I'm not looking to topple a multinational corporation, I just want to make sure someone else is down with where I want to go for lunch today, or maybe just take a Ski Break one Sunday night with a couple of famous dogs. I could handle that just fine.
...

Not every high school student embraces F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby as a classic, but with the release of Baz Luhrman's film adaptation this Friday… who cares? Who needs literature when you've got bomb-ass 3-D? Right, Tweeps?

8 Great Movies That Are Totally Different Now That I'm Older

Now that I'm older, I often find myself watching my favorite movies from childhood and having bizarre reactions like "Wait…do I actually hate this character?" or "Why am I rooting for these terrible people?" or "Sorry, Maverick, but Iceman actually makes a lot of good points here." In the hopes that some of you may be undergoing a similar crisis, here are 8 Great Movies That Bother Me Now That I'm Older.

A Point of Clarification: These are NOT movies that I used to love and now don't love (e.g., the Mallrats or Forrest Gumps of the world) or things I loved as a kid but realize now that they're dumb kid things (Ninja Turtles, He-Man, etc), they're movies that I grew up loving and still enjoy, but Adult-Me feels very differently about the people in them than High-School-Me and College-Me did, and I'm beginning to entertain the horrifying thought that Adult-Me is actually right. Onto the harrowing revelations:

1. Willy Wonka is a cannibalistic murderer.

</ br>

Granted: Wonka is a total creep, if not a psychopath. But some on the internet think that in the world of Wonka's chocolate factory, a secret candy recipe + shockingly easy child injury and possible death (i.e. the Augustus Gloop-sucking tube) = kid-candy. Wouldn't that make it taste a bit funky? Thick? Stringy? Regardless, the argument loses some credibility around the point this FanTheories Wiki editor says he's "not trying to be racist here [about Oompa Loompas], but cannibalism in Africa isn't the rarest of things." Sounds to me like he's just using his pure, bigoted imagination.
