You know that feeling you get right after something exciting is over and you have nothing left to keep you warm on winter nights but your stupid family? Well Monday morning will be more difficult than December 26, January 2, the start of fall semester, and the day after the Super Bowl combined.
...

After another appetizing set of opening credits, we move into the sixth episode of Dexter.

So we know that Dex’s biological mom and his foster dad were banging. Some people think Harry could possibly be Dexter’s real dad, but I believe that was debunked last season when Dexter and Rita went to his dad’s house to clean it out (right?). Although I don’t think Harry is Dexter’s biological dad, I think we will find something out about him. Maybe he tipped off the people who chainsawed Dexter’s mom or something, who knows. This whole topic is about ten times more confusing than Daylight Saving Time, so let’s be done with it for now.
...

Since last week’s Dexter column was overshadowed by some minor music video involving frathouses and Queen, you probably didn’t read it. But if you did, A) I love you and B) you know that Laguerta deserves a nice kick to her woman parts. I hope Dexter spent all week scrubbing the hull of his boat.
...

Welcome back, internet readers. How was your weekend? Just kidding, no one cares. Now get ready for your weekly dose of the best show on TV. Don’t think so? That’s fine, everyone’s entitled to their opinions, except for when they’re wrong like yours are. We pick back up in week three of the manhunt for the Bay Harbor Butcher, which if you’ve never seen the show is in fact the main protagonist, Dexter. But if you’ve never watched this show, why are you stupidly reading this article?
...

Episode #2.3

Last episode saw Dexter falsely admit that he was a heroin addict, which means he now has to go to treatment. Why couldn’t he just keep denying it? It would have made all of this so much easier. Maybe it’s just that: it would have made all of this so much easier. Damn you, Showtime writers.
...

This was an average episode compared to the season two premiere, which is sort of like having sex with Scarlett Johansson and then telling people she looks mediocre when she wears clothes. What I’m saying is that this episode could have included Doakes signing up for an eHarmony account and it still wouldn’t have been quite as good as the last episode. But it’s still an episode of Dexter, which means it remains superior to most of the shows those silly people without cable watch.
...

Season Two, Episode One

Okay, so how awesome was the beginning of season two? I have to admit that after watching the Ice Truck Killer tilted upside down getting drained of his blood in the last season, I thought the plotline would have to suffer at least a little this season. But as usual, I was wrong.
...
