Sylar kept morphing into his dead mother so they could have imaginary conversations, presumably about opening an ominous roadside motel together. He was also masquerading as Senator Nathan Petrelli until Danko stabbed him in the back. (Of the head.)

This Week: On his way to Washington with Angela and Claire in a 2009 Nissan Productplacement, Noah notices that they're headed for an agent-run roadblock up ahead. Luckily he deduces this in enough time to get Angela and Claire out of the car, urging them to sprint to safety. And though I'd like to believe it was just his way of convincing two very annoying people to run scared shitless into the woods for his own amusement, there actually does appear to be cops waiting for him. Sure enough, he is arrested and thrown into a cell with Capt. Corpse, whom Sylar has had apprehended by his own agents through the use of confusing-the-utter-fuck-out-of-everyone-both-onscreen-and-at-home.</>

I guess it makes sense though - for anyone as frail as Capt. Corpse, every little mundane activity must seem fraught with mortal peril. One slip of the razor and his jugular might wheeze a few drops of his "blood" onto the tile.

Little does he know, a serial killer lurks in his apartment. But I guess since murdering Danko would at best grant Sylar the ability to Have Sunken-In Eyes, he just leaves a present instead: Doyle, literally wrapped in a bow.
</>

The phone starts ringing, and she manages not to blow any Senators on her way to go answer it.

Speaking of Congressmen, Tracy's ex, Nathan Petrelli, is on the news being equal parts vague and ominous about a new "threat to humanity." He means his fellow Heroes, of course, because if you'll remember, he switched sides for about the 837th time during the last 30 seconds of last season/volume/whatever. He says he plans to begin rounding up these "dangerous people" very soon, but won't specify who or why for fear of being immediately shot in the face by another time traveler. For consistency's sake he then proceeds to switch sides two more times before the end of the interview.
</>

Arthur then leads his son to a nearby cell, and chained up inside is none other than Electric Sarah Marshall, who we discovered last week has a thing for Suicidal Superpowered Serial Killers. Because who doesn't.
</>

Nathan and Peter were sure lucky they didn't get THOSE eyebrow genes.

This Week On Heroes: Ahh, the soothing sound of Mohinder's bland, lifeless narration lulls us into another week. Remember how this season was called "Villains?" And how those Level 5 villains were supposed to be the baddest of the bad and so insanely powerful and evil that, if unleashed, they would pretty much destroy the world? Well...yeah, forget that. The Level Fivers decide to rob a bank, much to Peter/Jesse's dismay, but he goes along hoping to stop them. They rob the bank and hurt absolutely no one, except the guy who gains power from fear punches a hole in the Magneto-one (whose magnetic strength is roughly equal to a refridgerator magnet).
</>

It's...FuturePeter! And just like PresentPeter, he forgets that he can fly, teleport, and who knows what else instead of wasting time by running. Apparently things suck pretty hard in the future (as always), as FutureClaire puts a gun to Peter's head. She's upset that the future sucks so much as well, and plans on taking it out on the one person in the future who has so many powers that a gun could never pose any sort of threat at all. Regardless, she tries to shoot him right as he travels back in time to "change things."
</>

I really enjoyed it, we are unveiling some secrets, and people are dying (at least for a short period of time).

Whether or not Noah is actually dead, Mohinder shot him in the face, that was pretty bad ass. There has not been a more pointless character on a TV show in a long time. I am glad he did something that was active. “You have gone native.” That was certainly the line of the night. </>

Though from the looks of it, next week should pick up. I am a huge fan of the ‘fill in lost time’ device in TV and movies. It is really fun to see what has happened in a retroactive way. In this instance it seemed like they were pretty far along in the season and realized they took a lot of liberties and were like let’s jump back and clear some of this up.
</>

I am right back on the Heroes train. I am excited there is a lot of great stuff going on. Battles in the mindfield, making out while sharing headphones, Mohinder torn between sides, Peter traveling through dimensions. This is really starting to take off. I don’t want the season to end, I want to watch it on DVD, so that I don’t have to wait and I can fast forward through all the nothing.

One thing that made this episode great, is that the two storylines that are the least important were never touched upon. The New Orleans hero and Los Wonder Twins, what happens to them doesn’t matter when all the original characters have these great storylines.</>
