Staking an impressive claim as the second best College Movie franchise, the first Revenge of the Nerds scrapes into the top 10, pointing out all the factual inaccuracies in this list with wild, victorious abandon.
The parts were already pretty much in place for Road Trip, a movie about winning over girls and failing exams. What makes it special is how it uses these elements, as well as the fact that it isn't Sex Drive, which was the worst.
Before Adam Sandler because the infallible superstar he is today, he was out making films like The Waterboy and Billy Madison. While functional, they're not a patch on his recent efforts. It's a shame we can't include those on a college movie list, but this'll have to do.
The movie that singlehandedly did more for European-American relations than most politicians. OK, fine, those relations were mostly damaged by the movie, but that still doesn't mean it wasn't funny/Scotty Doesn't Know isn't the best song.
A rare drama entry, The Social Network follows the two main interests of most college-goers: Facebook and screwing people over. Sure, we could talk at length about Jesse Eisenberg's sinister but soft performance, but that leaves absolutely no time for us to talk about how much of a babe Rooney Mara is. It's all about prioritizing, guys.
