I Fought the Law

Jesus broke the law. So did George Washington. You did, too, and we want to hear about it.

Verbal Dispute

Up 0 Down

When I was 15, me and two friends were on our usual stroll through the local town and like usual we wanted a place to sit. We had our stash of candy and sat at the tables of the town coffee shop. The shop owner came running out and asked us what we had. We told him we only had candy and he told us that some people recently had been bringing spray paint and spraying the tables. He left and we headed back to my friend's house because he lived near town. About halfway back to my friend's house, a cop car swerved in front of us. The cop told us we were reported with having a "verbal dispute" with the coffee shop owner. We told him that wasn't true, and he called the station to hear about the report. Of course we fit the description of the three boys. The guy was told something over the phone and we could tell something was wrong. He then said "Oh, it was just Jack. You boys can go." Apparently, this guy had been calling in false reports almost on a weekly basis. We never went back there.
