This story could probably fall into the work sucks and polidicks categories as well, but I had to pick just one. So I answer phones for the customer service division of a large company. We frequently get calls from older customers who are a bit behind the times when it comes to technology. Well today I took a call from a nice gentleman who was very surprised that a real person answered the phone as he was expecting to deal with an automated system evidently. He exclaimed "Wow a real person! They must have to actually pay you! Them don't have to pay them damn Intertubes." I can only assume "intertubes" is what he calls automated call center systems. He then went on to complain about our cost for shipping parts and blame it on rising gas prices because of "Osama binbama".....
