Sister Act of passive aggression

Up +94 Down

My roommate is my sister. In theory we take turns doing simple chores like taking out the trash and buying communal stuff like toilet paper or washing up liquid. Except I end up doing it most of the time, because the level of grossness I am willing to live with is lower than hers and she always "forgets" to buy shared stuff at the supermarket. One day the toilet paper got to the last roll. She forgot to add it to the communal shopping list. Then it ran out and it was her turn to buy some. It was cold outside, she said she would go the next day. I had had enough. I secretly bought a stash of toilet paper and hid it in my room, smuggling it to the bathroom when I needed it. Over the course of a WEEK I watched her use a series of increasingly ridiculous toilet paper substitutes - kleenex, kitchen roll, tissue paper... before she finally gave in and bought some more. The look on her face when I told her was priceless. It's OK, she has a sense of humour.
