Oh, what a relie-!
To go to my job, I had to walk up a climbing country road and catch a bus. One morning, when I was predicting being late for my only reliable transport, I was rushing, and my smalldog was excitedly helping (being underfoot is helping). I escaped the house making sure she wasn't following me out and was on the small trek to the road. I was most of the way there when I thought I heard something familiar but out of place. I looked at my left ankle, where my dog would have been and was relieved to see nothing. Until she sneezed on my right ankle. I had to take her home, as the road was frequented by large mineral carrying trucks. I double-double-timed it up the hill and barely made the bus.
