Aunt's New Laptop

Up +19 Down

Several weeks ago, my aunt (in her sixties) decided that her computer was too old and slow and decided to buy a new laptop to replace it, a move endorsed by everyone in my family. However, she wanted me to show her how to use it, and I didn't have the time before returning to college. I assumed she'd manage to piece it together on her own since it's essentially no different from any other computer. When I came back several weeks later she still needed help because she couldn't figure out how to turn it on. She said there was no power button. When I pointed out the power button, the one with the symbol for power on it, she said "How was I supposed to know to press that button?! It's a q. Is that what it is- 'quon'?"
