So, I befriended a guy online who was in college, and after a year or so of talking we found out that we live pretty near each other, so we meet up. We started hanging out in the real world a lot and I actually started to like him a lot. He seemed like a a mature but kinda corky guy....my type. So I planned on telling him I like him, when suddenly I get a message from him telling me he got a girlfriend....and a week after that he tells me he banged said-girlfriend...wow. Oh, but I'm not done. We still hung out in person a lot but I started to notice something in his personality. The sad truth was that he WASN'T this mature corky guy I thought he was, he was an emotional, clingy guy who cannot be independent. I don't know why he wasn't like this when we first started hanging out but it was really pissing me off. I felt like I had dodged a bullet; I nearly confessed feelings for a guy with a different personality than I had originally assumed. So by then I was really getting sick of him, and then...by the second time his girlfriend breaks up with him (and they're are still together) he tells me that "he's always loved me." Oh.....wow.... To wrap up the story, I denied him and I don't talk with him anymore.
