So after 24 years I finally move out of my folks house into an apartment with a chick I was friends with during college. I thought she was a cool person and when she approached me about wanting a roommate I said why not. Everything was great until I realized she was a complete idiot! The apartment complex wasn't the greatest so I kept telling her even if you're at the apartment or leave for any reason lock the door, even if I'm there. One sunday I left for work, locked the door and drove off. I get a call from some random number, and it was my dumbass roommate. She was walking her dog and didn't take her keys or her phone. I was 45 minutes into my drive to work and she expects me to drive back. I didn't for good reason, she's a moron. 2 months later her crazy friend steals our vacuum and some of my pots and pans. I was pissed and she just let it slide cause her friend has a couple screws loose. Her 2 year old pug was also pissing everywhere in the apartment. Her couches were ruined by him because she never bathed him. Her loser boyfriend moved in and basically stayed there without a job. Ruined the carpets with black shoe polish for his combat boots, and she expect me to pay half the rent? She then wanted to move out 2 months before the lease was up and wanted to stick me with the bills. I said NO WAY! She said fine and continued the pay because they were in her name. After that she became a complete bitch. Moved all of her stuff into her room, even her microwave. She ruined a friendship because she was a complete slob (boyfriend as well), and when she confronted me about bills from the month prior of our end of the lease. I told her to shove it up her ass because I spent way more than what I owed her on cleaning expenses to make sure we didn't get charge for how she ruined that apartment. She was pissed and hung up on me. So to add insult to injury, I emailed the photos of the apartment to the humane society she adopted the dog from, and they are now in the legal process of getting the dog back because she is an unfit owner. That dog is her life, but I liked using that microwave!
