I work at a small auto shop. By small I mean it's me, the boss, and another mechanic. My boss buys cars from insurance auctions, fixes them up, and resells them. We do all the work in his yard, with barely-functioning equipment and tiny shops. There is no running water or toilets in the shops, so I either have to tough it out or take off my greasy shop clothes and go in his house because he doesn't want it dirty. In the winter I have to shovel his driveway and sidewalks, and freeze my ass off digging parts cars out of the snow. In the summer, I nearly die of dehydration because he refuses to turn the air conditioning on. He expects me to work every day of the week, and gets pissed when I take breaks even for family events and holidays. He also makes me do a lot of random bitch work like picking up his wife's prescriptions from the drugstore, driving halfway across the state to get his precious deer antlers scored, and driving his drunk ass to and from bars. I have ADD, so I have a hard time remembering little details, but every time I forget something he could have easily done himself in ten seconds he bitches me out. I finally told him I'm looking for another job last week. At first he seemed fine with it, but then he realized I'm the only sucker willing to fix his cars, so he's trying to convince me to keep working on the weekends. Not a chance in hell, you prick.
