I happen to be chronically ill, since i was about 17. Last time i visited my specialist, and i complained about being SO tired all the time and that it depressed me, he told me, i should view my disease and myself differently. He said: "Having Crohns disease, is like being an athlete, it's top sport for the body to deal with it, it's natural for you to be so tired,...it's the... Read More »

I'm a college student that works for a landscaping company during the summer. One day we were working on this one lady's house doing the usual stuff like planting flowers and bushes, mulching, and putting in stone edging. towards the end of the day when we had almost everything done my boss brought a few more plants to be planted and I thought no big deal about it, but mid way through the last plant the lady that owns the house came out and was watching me work. After getting the plant planted she then tells me I planted it backwards and needed to turn it around so I did. After I completed this and had it planted again she tells me that it was not close enough to the side walk. So I dug it up and replanted it again a foot closer exactly where she pointed to. After this, she tells me again that it is not close enough to the sidewalk and has me move it 2 inches closer and replant it again. --- The customer's always right, right?
I used to be able to get back from lunch at 12:30 and know that there would be a fresh batch of uPick submissions to read, but now I have to actually do some work as it is not being updated everyday!!!!

As soon as I rang the bell, I heard the jingle of dog tags & realized I was too far away from the vehicle to get back there in time, so I braced myself.... Read More »

Well anyways, he comes in about a week ago, and brings his laptop. The laptop that he has is a Compact with Windows XP (a bit outdated I must say). Anyways, he pulls... Read More »
I work private security, we have lately been having a lot of issues with access control and breaches (people not allowed to be there, being there.) so we have one officer who is in charge of training all of the officers in proper breach control. During his breach test, he failed and got a slap on the wrist. During mine, I passed but I missed a minor detail and got written up and... Read More »
