I went to South Africa a few years ago with my family. We went to Cape Point, which is a beautiful peninsula that is also the southernmost point in Africa. It is also littered with baboons. This might seem cool, but we were told that baboons are the mammals with the 2nd longest fangs in all of Africa. We were that if you keep to yourself and don't disturb them, they won't disturb you. Regardless, we were somewhat frightened, but managed to keep cool and enjoy the scenery. On the way back to the car, we saw an ice cream stand and decided to get some ice cream for the road. After we got it and started walking to the car, a family of baboons came and literally snatched the cones right out of our hands, jumped on top of our car, and started eating them right in front us. They even licked them like humans. It was terrifying/humiliating, but also kind of awesome.
