Prom

At first I was humiliated, but as the night grew on, I realized how great of an icebreaker it was. And best of all, it got our picture all over the yearbook.

It was a week until prom and I'd just changed to a private school, so I decided to ask one of my guy friends from my former school. I dressed up as a koala and went to my old school during lunch. I think I am the only person in the universe that didn’t go to the prom, but whose Mom and Dad did. My father was the assistant principal and was a chaperone. No way i was going.

I told my date a million times to wear a purple tie, and he showed up in a blue one that looked horrible next to my dress. I told him to go get a tie from my dad's closet to take pictures. When he came out, he had a huge smile on his face and started whispering to all our friends we were sharing the limo with. One of them told me later he had found my dad's old porn magazines.

My ex is mad at me because we broke up and I don't want to go to prom with her.

Last year for prom I wasn't feeling very confident about my chest so I went out and bought one of those water bras to enhance what I had. I walked back into the bathroom and the spot had grown!!! It turns out that when my bf pinned my corsage on it had put a hole in the bra!!! The stuff in the bra was pretty much vegtable oil and it left a horrible stain on my dress that won't come out!

For some reason, our Senior Prom had the absolutely stupid theme of Avatar (The James Cameron movie, not the TV series). It even had a giant tree in the middle of the dance floor. My friends and I decided to do the logical thing and dressed up as Kirk, Spock and Scotty from Star Trek and went around bothering people. My date loved it.

Around the time for prom at my school, I didn't have anyone to go with. I did have this friend at work, but she had a boyfriend at the time, so I didn't ask. After prom (which I didn't go to) she asked me why I didn't ask her. I told her I didn't asked because she had a boyfriend. She simply replied with "So!?"

For my Junior prom, I decided it would be cool to wear aviator sunglasses. You know, to look like a badass. I was talking with some of my friends and we where conversing about prom, I was talking to them saying I don't care how a guy asks me. I'm not that anal or stupid about someone asking me out to the dance, when a guy walks by me and says, "Don't worry no ones asking you to prom anyway."

My boyfriend and I decided to skip prom to play Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, a game we both have played several times. I don't know if much playing will get done, but either way, it beats prom.
