Billy Gaines and Duncan Carroll helped take beer pong from an excuse to black out to a legitimate sport by co-founding The World Series of Beer Pong and Bpong.com. I recently got to ask them how the tournament came to be, what winners do with their prize money, and the best distraction they've ever witnessed.

Usually when someone is really good at beer pong, they are considered to have a drinking problem. Is each yearly winner guaranteed to be a raging alcoholic?

If beer pong was just a college game, then perhaps your perception is correct - what college student is not a raging alcoholic?  What we've done with beer pong, however, is brought the game out of your college frat house basement and turned it into a sport. At the World Series and in any game a player is not required to drink any alcohol if they so choose. WSOBP official rules also have the back four cups filled with water rather than beer. Those that attend our events view beer pong as a sport and are there with a number one goal of winning their games. As such, I suspect the odds are against the winner being a raging alcoholic.

Tae Kwon Do and Aviators: the ultimate combination
Note: Don't be fooled by the title, this is not, I repeat NOT a porno. On a side note, my apologies to everyone in the theater)

If there's one thing I've known since childhood, especially during my extreme Ninja Turtles phase, it's that physical humor is almost always funny (unless your little brother tells on you of course. Wuss). So a movie about a full-of-himself Tae Kwon Do instructor who has his own dojo at the local mall? Sure, sign me up.

Remember that video that came out a while back with a drunken Will Ferrell arguing with his 2 year old Landlord? That was the first video made by Adam McKay (the guy who wrote Anchorman) and Will Ferrell's production company, 'Gary Sanchez Productions'. The Foot Fist Way came on the scene at the LA film festival where Will Ferrell saw it, decided he liked it, and did what any normal person would do: throw down tons of his own money to get distribution rights to the whole thing under his new production company. LA seems fun.

Anyway, since this is a small time movie going big, its kind of an acquired taste - it's a little like Napoleon Dynamite, except with scenes that are actually funny.

My brother set up a tatoo studio and he also specializes in henna body art (a tempary tatoo that lasts up to 3 weeks and is virtually impossible to remove before that 2-3 weeks).A roommate of mine played a prank on me earlier that year and i never forgot it, so 2 nights the graduation I got this henna ink and wrote "BONER" across his forhead when he was asleep. The next morning he woke up to be VERY angry about this. His parents were comming the next day with all his extended fmily to see his graduation. Despite his BEST efforts to remove this, he was unsucessful and all his grad pic's from his family he still had it clear as day, in block capitals across his forhead. At least I didnt tattoo it for real on it.

Freshman year before we went on our 2 week break we ordered pizza and breadsticks. We ended up not eating the breadsticks and left them in our floors common area over break. When we got back we reheated the breadsticks and gave them to a kid we hated on the floor, as a gift. He proceded to eat these 2 week old breadsticks and he got food poisoning later that night and had to go to the hospital.
