The gathering soon drew 500 attendees who vandalized the neighborhood, leaving behind $20,000 of damage. In an interview on the Australian news series A Current Affair, Corey showed some remorse but refused to remove his trademark sunglasses.rnIn the week after his party, Corey ran away to the beach to avoid his parents, went into police custody, hired an agent, and began a career as a party planner. He seems happy to stay in the public eye: in May 2008 he released a cover of the Beastie Boys' single "Fight For Your Right (to Party)" and made an appearance on Big Brother Australia.
