Brooklyn-based photographer Noah Kalina took a picture of himself everyday for six years, starting when he was 19. The slideshow, paired with an original piano score by his then-girlfriend Carly Comando, created the popular “Noah Everyday” video. The video was featured on VH1 and Time Warner commercials, and the New York Times. It was even parodied in an episode of “The Simpsons.” Kalina, a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC, was asked to take pictures backstage at the VH1 Big in ’06 Awards with celebrities, which then aired before and after commercial breaks. The video has over ten million views to date, and Kalina is continuing with the “Everyday” project.
