PHP Application Developer

Requirements
* Experience working on a high volume website
* Fluency in PHP 5 and the LAMP stack
* MySQL with performance tuning and scalability
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming
* Expertise with MVC methodologies
* Caching / Scaling (Memcached, APC, etc.)
* Thorough understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS and XML
* Experience with SPL a major plus
* e-commerce, credit card authorizations, and billing feature experience
* Experience with Linux or Solaris a plus
* jQuery or Prototype
* Experience building scalable frameworks
* A preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies

Responsibilities
* Implement and iterate on new and existing features
* Contribute to product design and implementation discussions
* Not be afraid to get your hands dirty playing with framework level code
* Profile / optimize code and queries for performance
* Work closely with our engineering team to build and scale back-end services

Requirements

* Help with sorting and posting videos
* Write articles
* Upkeep the site in the form of editing columns, captioning pictures, etc...

Requirements

Be part of the exciting and growing CollegeHumor team, at its Union Square, Manhattan office, as a supporting member of the Marketing and Advertising teams. As an intern, you will:
- Provide support to various advertising integrations
- Assist with the launch and growth of the Campus Representatives program
- Learn about the fast-growing worlds of online marketing and advertising sales
- Be exposed to content syndication and new business development opportunities
- Research and correspond with new link exchange partners
