The Winter Olympics are a two week long display of a bunch of insanely talented people doing some totally amazing things, and while watching them may fill you with patriotic pride, it's also probably going to make you feel terrible about your own life by comparison. To make you feel better, here's a list of reason's why those to help you truly maximize your pettiness.

I mean sure that guy can jump 20 feet in the air, and do 8 backflips, but you could have to if you just worked really hard and practiced all the time, but you just had better things to do with your time. Speaking of which...

It's actually kind of pathetic when you think about it. I mean, sure they've achieved near godlike levels of physical perfection, but at what cost? With all the time they've spent becoming Olympic level athletes, they probably never even experienced the joy of watching a whole season of Entourage in one sitting, with Doritos crumbs down their shirt. I mean what the hell kind of a life is that?

Dumbasses. I mean, it would be one thing to waste all that time training if you were going to make a bunch of money, but who the hell is going to put in their 10,000 hours if you're just going to be an amateur. Like honestly, what's the point?  Fulfillment of a life long dream? Lame.

Even if they win the gold medal, then what? You can't be at peak physical condition forever, so eventually they're going to have to live a life that's just them reminiscing about that one time they achieved their dreams and captured the spirit of a nation. That's so sad.  At least you still have your whole life in front of you. You can totally still do something greater than winning an Olympic medal...
