Anytime a new app or feature hits the market that involves the human face, it's bound for failure and being ripped to shreds. It's one of social media's most beloved pastimes, because, hey, computers are pretty much dumbos when it comes to face recognition technology.

Exhibit A: NBA 2K15

The most recent example of this came about when Microsoft rolled out their age-guessing app How-Old.net. The thing wasn't even as accurate as one of those old timey age-guessing carney folk and Twitter picked up on its failures pretty quickly.

Sure it's kind of accurate sometimes.

But then...

Basically, the app is probably going to guess your age somewhere between 0 and  ∞. Well, done, Microsoft. Next time I have a question about age I'll just resort to what I always do and play that old Blink-182 song.
